I Was Green, Now I’m Blue

Green.  I LOVE green!  Olive green is my favorite color.  For decades, my website was that pretty olive green.  I decided to revamp it and completely update it.  As I was in the process, I was very surprised when this aqua-ish blue color appeared.  I had no intention of changing the color of the site.  Strange how it just took over.

Blue?  I've never done blue.  Blue is just not my color.  I don't like blue walls, blue furniture, blue bedspreads ... blue nothing.  But, I guess something's changed on the inside. I found the blue appealing and appropriate for the site when it appeared. Any yeah, it just appeared.  It was weird.   I don't know what happened, but something did.

Green is still my favorite color though.  Maybe because it's the color of trees and grass is the reason why it moves me so.  (I love nature and trees and grass.)  My eyes are green, but I'm looking out through my eyes - not looking at them.  So, this blue really surprises me and I'm trying to understand why it's here.  But, it's okay; it's cool.  I'll do this blue.  The shock is starting to wear off and I do find it appealing for the site.

I expect a color change to mean other big changes.  Because leaving my olive green is a really BIG change.

To try to further understand, I googled the meaning of the color blue and found this definition from Color Meaning-Color Wheel Pro:

"Blue is the color of the sky and sea. It is often associated with depth and stability. It symbolizes trust, loyalty, wisdom, confidence, intelligence, faith, truth, and heaven. Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect."

The "biblical" meaning of the color blue according to google:

"Blue is the third primary color. It spiritually signifies the Healing Power of God. It is the most sublime subject and color which represents, biblically, the Word of God. The 15th Chapter of Numbers, verses 38-41 denote this biblical meaning of Blue (fringe of the borders a ribband of blue)."

I can relate to the sky thing.  I look up at the sky frequently these days and appreciate it's seemingly endlessness.  It's beautiful and soothing to look at the sky on a sunny day.  Watching the clouds move is mesmerizing.

"The Healing Power of God," I can really relate to because I discovered in recent times that I am a healer.

And the "wisdom, faith, truth..." yep, they all apply.  I feel an amazing confidence in what I've learned and in who I have become.

Even the cover page of my new book is blue.

I have recently been thinking of buying a blue dress - which would be for the first time in my life ever.  That thought has actually been in my mind for the last several months.  So, the website is blue and eventually I'll get a dress that is blue.  I'm in need of a car; perhaps it will be blue too.

Maybe I should write a song about blue?  Maybe I will.  I'll focus on the color blue and let the song come to me. We'll see.

So, I'd love some feedback on the look of the new site.  No, I don't allow comments because there's just too much spam that comes through.  But, you can send an email to me:  Would love to hear from you!

Welcome to my world of blue and rock some blue yourself!

Much love,
